Mega job mela at Guntur on July 5

Some of the major industries will participate in the job mela

Freshers and experienced can apply for jobs at the event


GUNTUR: A Chennai-based job consultancy firm in association with Mahatma Gandhi College, Guntur will organise a ‘Mega Walk-in Job Mela’ on July 5 on the college campus at Pattabhipuram in Guntur. The organisation proposes to organise similar mela at Tirupati also.

The Mahatma Gandhi College Director D.A.R. Subrahmanyam said that VT Manpower Consultancy Services Private Limited was one of the India’s largest “HR Solutions” firm.

Set up in 2006, it had found good placements for students from all over the country in good companies. It has tie-up with about 175 companies in various sectors, which need personnel from varied academic background.

Some of the recruiting companies from sectors like IT, BPO/ KPO, Banking and Insurance, FMCG and FMCD, Logistics, Stock Broking, Shares, Retail, Telecom, Engineering Industries that would attend the recruitment drive are Hinduja Group, India Infoline, Sulekha.net, CIPLA, Country Club and some other MNC Companies. The mega mela will be organised between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Advantages of the job fair are all the companies are having openings for both freshers and experienced candidates.

If someone proposes to change the job, they could take this opportunity to present their resume at the venue, said Mr. Subrahmanyam. He asked the candidates to come prepared with at least three sets of resume with photographs.

Those below 30 years are eligible for all the openings and freshers could weigh their options depending on the skills and interest. No fee would be charged from the candidates for attending the job fair.

In Tirupati, the job mela would be organised on July 6 at Sri Padmavathi Women’s College.
