Escorts starts OPD session in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: People suffering from heart diseases in Uttar Pradesh will now be able to consult cardiologists from the country’s top cardiac care institute at OPD in their respective regions in the state.

Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre Ltd (EHIRCL), cardiac care hospital in Delhi, on Saturday started its first Out Patient Department (OPD) sessions in the state here.

Inaugurating the session at Krishna Medical Centre here, Director Cardiac Surgery, EHIRCL, Dr Y K Mishra said: “We are very happy to bring high quality cardiac care to the people of Uttar Pradesh who would no longer have to travel to Delhi for basic cardiac check-ups”.

“The OPD sessions will also help in creating awareness amongst the people about growing heart ailments ,” he said. - PTI
