Sarpanches plan ‘Chalo Assembly’

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Sarpanches Association has decided to stage a ‘Chalo Assembly’ rally in August, during the monsoon session of the Assembly. It was resolved to indefinitely boycott meetings of mandal parishads in protest against government’s ‘failure’ to devolve funds and functions to local bodies.
