Vuppunuthala complains against IT Minister

HYDERABAD: Differences between Telangana Regional Development Board Chairman V. Purushotham Reddy and Information Technology Minister R. Damodar Reddy took a new turn with the former dashing off a complaint to the APCC president D. Srinivas.

The senior Congress leader hit back at Mr. Damodar Reddy by sending a detailed complaint about the latter’s style of functioning in the district and his acts of omission and commission. He is reported to have explained how he was completely kept out of the bypoll campaign. “Mr. Purushotham Reddy is particularly upset that the IT Minister toured his constituency without informing him. If it was an official meeting, he would not have objected but the Minister addressed party workers,” sources said. The two Congress leaders are at loggerheads after the defeat of party nominee in the byelections to Alair Assembly.
