Ko.Si. Mani’s daughter dead

CHENNAI: Pushpa, daughter of Ko.Si. Mani, Minister for Co-operation, Statistics and Ex-servicemen Welfare, and wife of Ravi Kannan, died at the Royapettah Government Hospital here on Saturday, after a brief illness.
Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi went to Pushpa’s residence at Royapettah and offered condolences.
Ministers Arcot N. Veeraswami and K. Ponmudy placed wreaths. The body was taken to her native village Meikirimangalam in Thanjavur, where the last rites will be performed.
She is survived by her husband and two sons Senthil Kumar and Deepak Kumar.
