Coimbatore: Ashwin Sunder and Karthik Shankar, representing Team Rams Racing, found the winning formula under tough conditions in the Formula Hyundai Enduro race on the opening day of the JK Tyre National racing championship at the Kari Motor Speedway in Chettipalayam on Saturday. With the rain coming down, the Formula Hyundai Enduro race had to come to a grinding halt as the first U turn was seen flooded with water. But when the race resumed, Sunder and Shankar scorched the wet circuit to complete 54 laps in 1hr 15 mins 43 secs for the top spot. It was a one-two for Team Rams Racing as Narain Shankar and Vishnu Prasad came in second a lap short in the stipulated time. — Sports Reporter
