Condolence book at India Gate

NEW DELHI: A condolence book will be placed near India Gate here from Monday for three days for the public record their messages on the death of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.

The condolences can be recorded from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m till July 2. The Chief of the Army Staff, General Deepak Kapoor, will record the first message. Gen. Kapoor, who was away in Russia, and the other two services chiefs could not attend the funeral at Coonoor on Friday.
