PUDUCHERRY: The privilege issue raised by two legislators against Chief Secretary Rakesh Behari to the Puducherry government has been referred to the Privileges Committee. Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam MLA R.Siva and Communist Party of India MLA R.Viswanathan had raised the issue through separate letters submitted to Speaker R. Radhakrishnan alleging that Mr. Behari had made “derogatory remarks” against the Council of Ministers at a review meeting held recently. Deputy Speaker and Chairman of the Privileges Committee A.V. Sreedharan said the issue would be examined by the panel on Wednesday.
