Permission denied for DMDK rally

VILLUPURAM: The police have denied permission to the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam to take out a protest rally here on Monday.

North district secretary of the party L.Venkatesan said the rally, to be led by party leader Vijayakant, was planned from Villupuram Junction to the Collectorate. It was meant to register protest against the inflation.
