NEW DELHI: To clear extra rush of passengers, Northern Railway will run specials trains from the Capital to Udhampur, Varanasi and Lucknow. The Delhi-Udhampur-Delhi Express Special Train will run daily and depart from Delhi Junction from July 1 to July 31 to reach Udhampur the next day. In the return direction, it would depart from Udhampur from July 2 to August 1 to reach Delhi Junction. Consisting of two AC 2-tier, seven second class sleeper, three general second class and two luggage vans, the train will stop at Panipat, Ambala Cantonment, Ludhiana, Chakki Bank and Jammu Tawi stations en route. The Varanasi-Delhi Junction-Varanasi Superfast Special will run daily and depart from Varanasi from July 1 to July 31 to reach Delhi Junction the next day. In its return service, the train would depart from Delhi Junction from July 2 to August 1 to reach Varanasi. Consisting of one AC 2-tier, seven second class sleeper, three general second class coaches and two luggage vans, the train will halt at Sultanpur, Lucknow, Moradabad and Ghaziabad stations en route. The New Delhi-Lucknow Superfast Special will depart from New Delhi from July 1 to July 31 to reach Lucknow the next day. In its return service, the train would depart from Lucknow from July 2 to August 1 to reach New Delhi. Consisting of one 1st AC, two AC 2-tier, two AC 3-tier, five second class sleeper coaches and two luggage vans, this train would be stopping at Ghaziabad, Moradabad and Bareilly stations en route. The New Delhi-Lucknow-New Delhi (via Moradabad) Shatabdi Special would run six days a week except Wednesday. While the Lucknow-New Delhi Shatabdi Special would depart from July 1 to July 31 to reach New Delhi the same day, the New Delhi-Lucknow Shatabdi special would depart from New Delhi from July 1 to July 31 to reach Lucknow. Consisting one executive class and seven AC Chair Car coaches, the train will halt at Bareilly, Moradabad and Ghaziabad stations en route.
