Nuclear deal

The analysis by Brahma Chellaney (June 28) of the current debate on the Indo-U.S. nuclear deal brings out its many drawbacks. It is clear that there will be no worthwhile advantage for India if the deal is through.

After all, this is a business proposition and if found suitable, we pay for it and buy the nuclear power equipment and technology, services, etc., like any other commodity. If required, we can even sign the NPT after taking due care.
