Marginal dip in B.Com. pass percentage

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The pass percentage in the final year B.Com. examinations of the University of Kerala, the results of which were declared on June 28, have marginally dipped this year. Only 22.92 per cent of the students who appeared for the examinations have passed.

Last year, the pass percentage was 23.08.

This time, the first rank goes to Midhun Mohan of the S.N. College Punalur. He scored 1,266 marks out of 1,500. The second rank goes to Rose Mary Thomas of the Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram; her score was 1,247. The third has been bagged by Nisha Habi of the Government Arts College, Thiruvananthapuram who scored 1,213 marks.

Of the 13,454 candidates who registered for the examinations, 11,745, appeared. While 842 candidates secured a first class, 899 secured second class and 1,461 third class.

The results will be made available on the university’s web site ‘ www.keralauniversity.edu’ on Monday morning, a press note issued here said.
