Elections to fill ZP post on July 7

CHAMARAJANAGAR: Elections to the vacant post of vice-president of the Chamarajanagar Zilla Panchayat will be held on July 7. The post is reserved for Backward Class (A) category and has been vacant since Puttarangashetty was elected to the Assembly. The aspirants to the post are C.A. Mahadev Shetty of Madapura constituency, Shivakumar of Kunthur constituency and Shivamurthy of Palya constituency in Kollegal taluk.
