Sloth bear dies at zoo

BHUBANESWAR: A 3-year-old sloth bear of Nandankanan Zoological Park died on Saturday. The male sloth bear (Ramaya) was brought to the zoo from Khariar Division after it was rescued in 1981. It showed sign of sickness from June 10 and subsequently the bear was examined by the Zoo vets and medicine was administered, zoo sources said.
