COIMBATORE: Cethar Consultancy Services, a subs’idiary of Tiruchy-based Cethar Vessels Group, has introduced a software specially designed for mobile phones. N.Sridhar, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cethar Consultancy Services, said the software enabled learning through mobile phones, adding that any text-based information could be provided by the software. It could be used by specialised centres that taught languages to students, training centres of corporate companies. The product would also be ideal as a learning tool for aspiring insurance agents, Mr.Sridhar added. Those appearing for competitive examinations could make use of the software too. It allowed content to be transferred from a personal computer to a mobile phone either though Bluetooth, Infrared or a data-cable. The content would occupy only minimum storage space and had been tested for non-interference with other features of the phone. The company also undertook orders for industry-specific contents.
