GULBARGA: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has told a delegation of the Karnataka State Daily Wage Employees’ Association that the issue of regularisation of services of over 17,000 daily wage workers in various government departments will be taken up after the budget session. President of the Karnataka State Daily Wage Employees’ Association Chandrasekhar Hiremath, who has been spearheading the agitation for regularisation of the services of daily wage workers, told presspersons here on Sunday that the delegation called on the Chief Minister in Bangalore a few days ago. During the meeting, the Chief Minister had stated that he would consult the Law Secretary and the Advocate General and take up the issue in the Cabinet meeting, Mr. Hiremath said. — Special Correspondent
