Facile win for Sri Lanka

Karachi: Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by 64 runs in a STAR Cricket Asia Cup semifinal league match at the National Stadium here on Sunday.

Chasing 303, Skipper Shoaib Malik and Younis Khan put on 72 for the second wicket after Vaas sent back opener Salman Butt for no score. But, after that wickets kept falling at regular intervals, and a 66-run stand between Misbah-ul-Haq and Sarfraz Ahmed for the seventh wicket only delayed the inevitable.

Ajantha Mendis scalped four.
