Two drowned

SIRSI: Vaman Kamanna Ambiga (45) and his son, Sandesh Vaman Ambiga (12), died when their boat sank in the Sharavati in Malkod in Honnavar taluk. They had gone fishing in the river in their boat on Sunday. It is said that their boat overturned due to strong currents. Their bodies were found on Monday. A case has been registered.
