Timely benefits for retired MCD staff

NEW DELHI: Municipal Commissioner K.S. Mehra has ensured that 130 civic body employees who retired on Monday get their terminal benefits starting on the day of retirement itself. Speaking at a function organised to see off the superannuated officials, Mr. Mehra said: “I would like to put the entire system on rails and ensure there is regularity in payment of retired members. The administration has to imbibe humanitarian values.”
