Thiruvananthapuram: The Purogamana Kala Sahithya Sanghom has asked the government not to withdraw the social science textbook of Class VII. The State committee of the Sanghom decided to organise a convention of artistes and writers in Thrissur to press the demand. It also unanimously elected novelist U.A. Khadar as the new president of the Sanghom in the place of Kadammannitta Ramakrishnan who passed away recently.
