Woman who attempted suicide dead
New Delhi: A young woman, who allegedly attempted suicide last week due to “dowry harassment”, died at a city hospital, police said on Monday.
Neetu Gupta was admitted to Sri Balaji Hospital on Wednesday last week after she was found hanging in her house in Paschim Vihar.
She died on Sunday, police said, adding she was found hanging by her husband Naveen Gupta, who rushed her to the hospital.
Neetu was married to Naveen Gupta, who was running a distributorship of Tata Indicom mobile phone, about six years back. The couple has a son. Police said the body has been sent for post mortem.- PTI
