Property dealer shot dead
NEW DELHI: A property dealer was shot dead allegedly by a friend following an altercation in Mandawali here on Sunday. The accused has been arrested.
Sanjeev was found lying injured and was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. Police investigations revealed that he was last seen consuming liquor with his friend Raja Ram. Suspecting his involvement, the police picked him up for questioning. During interrogation, he purportedly confessed to having murdered Sanjeev as he refused to get more liquor for him.
The police claim to have recovered the country-made firearm at the instance of the accused.
