Relatives allegedly attack doctors accusing them of being responsible for death

The relatives allegedly attacked an orthopaedic surgeon and another doctor on duty accusing them of being responsible for the death of patient. The kin of the deceased also damaged window panes and doors of the mortuary to take the body out illegally.

Under the aegis of AP Government Doctors’ Association they raised slogans against increasing attacks on duty doctors and demanding action against those responsible for the recent incident. The kin of the deceased, D. Suryanarayana (28) of Singanamala village, a fisherman by profession, took up an agitation in the hospital alleging lack of proper treatment as the cause of death. They lodged a complaint with the police and demanded action against the doctors responsible for the death.
