PUDUCHERRY: The Pondicherry Medical College Students-Parents Association on Tuesday said the Perunthalaivar Kamaraj Medical College and Research Centre should start functioning from this academic year. Staging a protest, association president A. Gabriel said the government medical college would provide 100 per cent free and quality education to students. The association demanded that the Perunthalaivar Kamaraj financial assistance scheme be provided for five years to MBBS students.
