Namakkal 92 in 23.1 overs (Senthamilselvan five for 31) lost to Tiruvannamalai 94 for nine in 31.3 overs (Sathish Kumar four for 14). At Theni: ‘C’ zone: Erode 172 in 45 overs (Gowtham 50, Yuvaraj 41, Naresh Babu four for 30) lost to Vellore 149 for four in 38.5 overs (Thabarak Baig 57 not out) (Target revised to 148 in 43 overs due to rain). Tirunelveli 138 in 40.5 overs (Pradeep 40, N. Bhaskara Sethupathy four for 10) lost to Ramanathapuram 139 for four in 25.4 overs (Guanaprakasa Murthy 55).
