Plea for protection

KOCHI: The Self-Financing Nursing College Management Association on Tuesday filed a writ petition seeking police protection for the smooth conduct of the entrance test scheduled on July 13. In its plea, the association said that it decided to conduct an entrance test for admission to member colleges, as many of the candidates could not appear for the common entrance test. The admission Supervisory Committee had also agreed to supervise the test. The association feared that certain students’ organisations may disrupt the examination.
