Congress exposed: Advani

Staff Correspondent

Bhopal: BJP leader L.K. Advani said the Congress’ “pseudo-secular credentials” was exposed in its stand on the Shrine Board issue.

Addressing journalists, he said, “No party can claim to be secular if it bulldozes the feelings of the majority community.”

Mr. Advani said the Congress-led Jammu and Kashmir government had withdrawn the forest land allotted to the Shrine Board under pressure from the People’s Democratic Party. He asked why basic facilities were not being provided to Amarnath pilgrims when all facilities were available at the Vaishno Devi shrine.
