Jaipur: Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shiv Charan Mathur on Tuesday submitted his resignation from the Legislative Assembly. The designated Governor of Assam, Mr. Mathur met the Assembly Speaker Sumitra Singh, and submitted his resignation and requested her to accept it with effect from July 3. Mr. Mathur will take oath as Governor of Assam on July 4.
