JAIPUR: A day after a major reshuffle in the State bureaucracy, the Rajasthan Government on Monday night shifted four IAS officers while making changes in the original list of transfers that included the coveted post of the Commissioner of Jaipur Development Authority. The transfer of Deepak Upreti as JDA Commissioner was cancelled and he was sent back as Secretary, Finance Department (III). In his place, Rajasthan Roadways Chairman and Managing Director Ashok Jain has been appointed the new JDA Commissioner. Under the fresh orders, B. L. Arya, who was earlier appointed the Social Justice and Empowerment Secretary, has been appointed the new Chairman and Managing Director of the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation. He will be replaced by Alok as the new Social Justice and Empowerment Secretary. He was earlier shifted as Special Secretary, Finance (Expenditure), from the post of Udaipur Collector.
