House raided

PUDUKOTTAI: In a raid on a residence at Gopalapattinam near Meemisal, a coastal village in the district on Monday night, the Customs officials seized bundles of cigars, T-shirts, battery cells used for torch-lights, all worth Rs.75,000. The officials have rounded up Ice Sheriff (48) who had stocked the materials, and are investigating.
