Training in TOEFL at college

SRIVILLIPUTTUR: Kalasalingam Pharmacy College is imparting training to M. Pharm. and B. Pharm. candidates for taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

According to a college press release, a seminar on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) was held on June 27. Principal M. Palanivel presided over the programme. Professor V. Sivakumar spoke about the importance of GMP. Medicine manufacturers, researchers and marketing personnel addressed the seminar.

Dr. Palanivel said that the many foreign pharmaceutical majors were investing in the Indian pharmacy sector and that students of pharmacy had a bright future.

To enable the students to go aboard, training to clear TOEFL is given to them, he said.
