SBI opens four new branches

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Bank of India (SBI) opened four new branches in Kerala as part of 101 new branches across the country declared open by Finance Minister P. Chidambaram on State Bank Day on Tuesday. They are at Medical College, Karamana, Nedumangad and Kattakada. Chief General Manager Radha Unni said that the new branches, with state-of-the-art technologies, would enable SBI to enhance banking facilities to the public in these areas. — Special Correspondent
