SBI staff boycott celebrations

Thiruvananthapuram: The State Banks Staff Union (Kerala Circle) has strongly protested against the reported statements of State Bank of India chairman O.P. Bhat playing down the role of the employees in the progress and development of the public sector banks in general and the SBI in particular. Responding to a call from it, the employees kept away from the State Bank Day celebrations organised on Tuesday.
