Value added services
Coimbatore: Airtel has launched Tamil-based utility Value Added Services (VAS) for its customers in Tamil Nadu.
A release from Anirban Ghosh, Chief Operating Officer, Mobile Services, Airtel, Tamil Nadu, said that the three such services offered now are ‘learn an English word a day,’ daily horoscopes in Tamil and daily news in Tamil.
The initiatives are in line with the Airtel’s strategy of customising content to suit local preferences, increasing the relevance and to take its value-added services among the customers.
Airtel subscribers would be charged Rs. 30 to subscribe for each of the services.
