Road renamed after Sahib Singh

NEW DELHI: To commemorate the first death anniversary of former Union Minister Sahib Singh Verma, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday unveiled a plaque at Sangam Vihar Deoli Bundh Road in Outer Delhi renaming it Dr. Sahib Singh Verma Marg.
Paying glowing tributes to the departed leader, the Chief Minister said Dr. Verma was a true example of simple living and high thinking. “His untimely death has left a permanent void in Delhi’s political scene,” she added.
Saket MLA Vijay Jollydescribed Dr. Verma as the son of the soil.
