Black-badge stir

MADURAI: Residents of Sholavandan observed a black-badge protest on Tuesday condemning the announcement of the Southern Railway (Madurai division) that the Pandyan Express would not stop at Sholavandan from July 1.

The protest was preceded by a demonstration on June 25 and fast on June 29.
