Woman jumps to death

BANGALORE: A 29-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping from the terrace of a five-storeyed apartment complex in which she lived, in Thyagarajanagar police station limits here on Tuesday. The police gave her name as Panna, daughter of Shivaswamy and Sulochana who reside in Garadi Apartments near Tata Silk Farm on K.R. Road. Panna had reportedly written a suicide note saying she was depressed because she was unable to get any job.
Bank agents held
The Siddapur Police have arrested three recovery agents of a private bank on charges of trying to trespass into a doctor’s apartment and threatening her.
The police said that Shobha, a doctor and resident of Falcon Apartments, had lodged a complaint that recovery agents of HDFC Bank, from where she had taken a loan, had tried to break into her apartment.
