Powerlifting championships from today

KOCHI: The RSC Kerala State senior and sub-junior powerlifting championships begin at the Regional Sports Centre’s mini auditorium, Kadavanthra, on Thursday.

Nearly 250 powerlifters (men, women, boys and girls) will figure in the two-day event, jointly organised by the Regional Sports Centre and the Ernakulam District Powerlifting Association.

Sebastian Paul, MP, will inaugurate the championships at 9.30 a.m. and the competitions will begin at 10.30 a.m. – Principal Correspondent
