Bandh peaceful

VIZIANAGARAM: Barring stray incidents in the Koraput and Rayagada districts (abutting Andhra-Orissa border), the Bharat Bandh called by CPI (Maoists) on Wednesday was peaceful in the district.

According to sources in the Police Department here, Maoists torched a Reliance tower at Jagguguda and also records in a forest check-post office at Chidivalasa under Narayanapatnam police station limits in Koraput district in the morning. This was the second tower damaged in the last couple of days.
