Fatehpur: Two children were killed and six others seriously injured, when their house collapsed early morning on Wednesday following heavy rain in Manauti village here, official sources said. The family was sleeping when the house collapsed burying all of them, they said. The villagers managed to save six members, including the parents of the deceased, however, two children aged five and seven years were killed, the sources said. The district administration has announced a financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to the family, they added.
