Dehra Dun: Seven persons were killed and 22 injured when the bus carrying them fell into the Ganga near Nakhuridunda in Uttarkashi district on Wednesday. The number of passengers travelling by the bus from Gangotri to Rishikesh was not known but the driver lost control over the vehicle due to some “technical fault”, Uttarkashi Superintendent of Police Neelesh Anand Bharare said. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.
