Paritala case: approver deposes

ANANTAPUR: K. Ramamohan Reddy, approver in the Paritala Ravindra murder case deposed before the District and Sessions Court here on Wednesday. He detailed in his confession how he was in touch with the key accused in the case, how he had helped him and how the plot was executed after two failed attempts.

All the accused in the case except J. Srinivasa Reddy/ Moddu Seenu were present in the court when the deposition by the approver was being recorded. Moddu Seenu was not produced on health grounds, as he underwent a surgery recently in Hyderabad.

Details

As Ramamohan Reddy was explaining his role and other details pertaining to the conspiracy, plot and execution, the other accused kept flashing a wild smile at him. They even kept whispering among themselves all through. One of the accused even went to the extent of telling the video cameras of news channels while on his way out of the court buildings, that the approver, an accused in the case along with them, would not do anything with his confession.

The approver told the court that he had supplied SIM card (phone no. 98662 70250) to G. Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri in jail He also explained to the court that all of them (the accused except Suri) used to meet in a room in Chakravarthi Tower and SS Guest House here . Judge K. Gaddenna told the approver to be specific when Ramamohan Reddy was reeling out the details which had no bearing on the case and he adjourned the case to July 15. Special prosecutor for CBI P. Ranganayakulu, counsel for the approver Harshavardhan Reddy and lawyers for the other accused were also present.
