Farmer ends life

Chitradurga: A farmer of Lambanihatti village of Holalkere taluk allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself on Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as Basavaraj Nayak (35). According to a complaint lodge by the family members, Nayak took the step owing to financial burden and failure to repay the loan he reportedly borrowed from bank and private money lenders. — Staff Correspondent
