Fees for BDS seats

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government on Wednesday signed a seat-fee pact for admission to the BDS courses in 16 self-financing colleges in the State. By the agreement, the fee for 50 per cent of the seats (merit quota) would be Rs.44,000 per year. The annual tuition fee for the 35 per cent seats in the management quota would be Rs.3.5 lakh. The fee in the NRI quota too would be Rs.3.5 lakh. The pact was signed by the Health Secretary and representatives of the association of managements of self-financing dental colleges, a press note issued here said. — Staff Reporter
