District police logo released

Cheetah logo for Nizamabad unveiled by DIG Rajaratnam Naidu

Swift icon: DIG K. Rajaratnam Naidu unveils the logo of the district police at police headquarters in Nizamabad on Wednesday.

NIZAMABAD: DIG K. Rajaratnam Naidu released the logo (Cheetah) for the district police at a function here on Wednesday evening. Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar, Officer on Special Duty Surya Prakash Rao and other police officers were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Naidu said the police personnel of each district were identified with their own logo. Every district and police battalions had logos in the State, while it was belatedly released here.

Award

The DIG on the occasion gave away citations to the children of police personnel, who scored more than 500 marks in the SSC and 900 and above marks in Intermediate Public Examinations. He also complimented Pranahitha, daughter of Morthad police station Assistant SI, P. Lingam for securing 41st rank in the EAMCET.
