Stem cell research division set up

NEW DELHI: Realising the importance of stem cell research in finding a cure to spinal cord injuries, the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre has set up a research division in collaboration with San Raffaele Hospital at Milan in Italy.

The Indian Spinal Injuries Centre will become a unit of San Raffaele International Science Park which has been doing pioneering research in the field since 1995. There will also be transfer of technology and exchange of personnel.
