‘Justice not limited to judicial matters’

BANGALORE: Justice is not restricted to judicial matters. It is applicable to administrative issues too, Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court, Cyriac Joseph has aid.

He was speaking at a farewell function organised here on Wednesday by the Karnataka State Bar Council (KSBC) on the High Court premises to felicitate him on the eve of his elevation as a Judge of the Supreme Court.

Mr. Cyriac Joseph said that he was guided by the virtue of justice during the two-and-a-half years he headed the judiciary in Karnataka.

Every decision on the administrative side was taken in the interests of the institution, he said.

‘Great honour’

It was a great honour to serve as Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court as it was one of the best High Courts in the country, Mr. Cyriac Joseph said. Later, the Advocates Association too organised a felicitation for Mr. Cyriac Joseph.
