‘Reintroduce carry over system’

CHAMARAJANAGAR: Activists of Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and college students took out a procession here on Wednesday demanding that the Government reintroduce the carry over system in colleges.

They raised slogans against the Government and the Education Minister. They staged rasta roko on National Highway 209 for 30 minutes.

The State Government should reintroduce the carry over system for the benefit of poor students, they said. Parishad leader Nagendra alleged that though they had submitted memorandums in this regard, the Government did not respond.
