Unorganised workers seek regularisation

The Central government and Public Sector Based Unorganised Workers’ Federation has demanded that the number of daily wage, casual and temporary workers should not exceed 2 per cent of the total permanent employees in government organisations and PSUs.

At a discussion organised at the Prema Samajam hall on Wednesday, the federation passed resolution demanding regularisation of temporary workers in accordance with the fresh guidelines issued by the government as per the directions of the Supreme Court.
