ANANTAPUR: Two students were taken ill after consuming the mid-day meal in the Mandal Parishad Primary School in Bommakuntapalli village of Narpala Mandal in the district on Wednesday. They were rushed to the general hospital along with another 13 children. And all were discharged in a couple of hours. A lizard was reportedly found in the ‘sambar’ served in the meal. According to the police the lizard was found in the portion served to a student called Madhavi. She and another student began vomiting immediately after having a part of the served food. ‘Negligence’ of cookOf the 21 students in the school 15 had taken the mid-day meal. Parents of students alleged that negligence of the cook. All the students were discharges from the hospital within a couple of hours as they had no serious problem.
